Are you interested in life as a craftsman, making things with your hands and peddling your wares? Could you thrive in an extremely quiet rural New Hampshire town? Do you want to make a commitment to training (with compensation) of 3-6 months to see if you could make it as a craftsman? Let’s talk! Fill out the form below as an introduction. Terms of the apprenticeship can be negotiated after acceptance. I would like to have you visit and we’ll spend a few days getting to know one another and working on a few projects together before making the big commitment to a move here.
Use the message block blow as a letter of introduction. Here are some things you can share, but don’t limit yourself to these, feel free to tell me whatever story works for you. Being a craftsman is a life of being creative, so run with it!
Why do you want to pursue this unorthodox path?
A bit about your work experience thus far, what sorts of things have you done, what has been a good fit, what’s hasn’t been?
Projects or accomplishments in your life that speak to your potential success as a craftsman.
What sorts of things do you enjoy doing in free time?
It’s important to understand that Temple NH is VERY quiet and rural and my shop is a one man operation. Keene, Milford, and Nashua New Hampshire are all towns in commuting distance (under one hour) that offer more social opportunity and suburban norms. If you’re a highly social city living person, this could be a very shocking experience.
