To all my patient customers currently under deposit, or fully paid and waiting -

“I’m curious when my knife or tool will ship?”

Yes I get that message a lot, I deserve it, and I try to give each one a thoughtful response. I accept full responsibility for managing expectations and timelines very poorly since mid summer to now. But trying to accommodate and adjust to the next “squeaky wheel” message has only led to further confusion on both ends. Here is the standard response going forward:

You will receive an email from me to confirm your address and preferred shipping method when your hook knife or sloyd carving knife, or non custom friction folder is complete and ready to post. You will receive a second email from my sales system with the tracking info.

If you have NOT received either email, your order is in the queue

Custom FOLDING KNIVES

For folding knife customers, many of which are semi custom. I am trying to finish all the sloyds and hooks I have contracted first so I can focus in on these harder builds without the other models distracting me.

I will reach out to collect details when I am truely ready to put my hands on your project. Collecting details too early always leeds to further confusion and project changes along the way. The first message may be to find out simply what blade steel and design you want so I can include it in a heat treat batch of blades for multiple customers. The second email or message will cover the aesthetic choices. A final email will be sent when the item is complete to confirm shipping details and I will ship it.
