Choose between two aesthetic options both feature the deluxe ti hardware, wood scales and stainless steel blade.

Option 1 - Cherry wood scales, bonded to maroon micarta liners with a natural micarta back spacer. Just as pictured

Option 2 - Surprise Wood and Micarta Combo (likely Maple wood with complimenting colors)

The Blades on these will be AEB-L Stainless steel with a Hollow Scandi Grind at my typical 28 degree bevel. The blade length is about 2.5” and the handle is 4”.

This model is a compact design designed for that quick carving session while you wait to pick of the kids at (insert event here) or sneaking in a little carving at the family barbecue, or camping trip

Friction folders do not have a lock, and stay opened and closed based on the friction at pivot. They open best with two hands, like a Swiss army knife, but can be opened with one hand too. The design suits a small knife and a technique that doesn’t involve pushing on the back of the blade. If you’re a thumb pusher like me, a quick adjustment of technique to move your thumb to the edge of the handle keeps the blades from moving on you and feels quite natural. It’s not likely to replace your favorite fixed carving blades, but it’s a unique addition to your carving kit for specific circumstances.
